Prime arthritis and Rheumatology Center LLC  was informed by TriZetto Provider Solutions (“TriZetto”) that a data breach occurred on TriZetto’s systems which exposed protected information of some patients and primary insureds associated with Prime arthritis and Rheumatology Center.
TriZetto is a third-party subcontractor used by many electronic health record (EHR) systems to check patient eligibility and process claims, including the EHR system used by Prime arthritis and Rheumatology Center. TriZetto’s is a separate company from Prime arthritis and Rheumatology Center and the EHR vendor. 
This breach occurred only on TriZetto’s systems. Prime arthritis and Rheumatology Center’s internal systems and cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) system were not breached and remain secure.
 
What happened? 
TriZetto Provider Solutions discovered on October 2, 2025 that an unauthorized party accessed TriZetto’s web portal and viewed historical insurance eligibility reports for patients and primary insured persons. TriZetto hired a cybersecurity expert, removed the threat, investigated the extent of the breach, notified required authorities. TriZetto determined which individuals were affected, which providers were associated with the affected individuals, and notified the affected providers and pateints.

How is TriZetto Responding?
Time Sensitive:
TriZetto started mailing notices to affected individuals in February 2026 and is offering free credit and identity monitoring services. 
TriZetto has set up an incident response website and call center where you can learn more about the breach, what TriZetto is doing, and enroll in the free monitoring services.
If you received the notice letter, or did not receive the letter but believe you may be affected, please contact TriZetto before the May 8, 2026 deadline if you want to enroll in the free monitoring.
