
Mowyad Khalid, MD,

Dr. Khalid is a compassionate board-certified rheumatologist who firmly believes in communication between doctors and patients and tailoring the management to the patient’s needs.
He graduated from medical school in Sudan in 2012 and completed his internal medicine residency at Wayne State University. After that, he was chosen as a chief resident and taught medical students in the university. He finished the rheumatology Fellowship at the prestigious Washington University in St.Louis/Barnes Jewish Hospital. He also took care of the veterans at the Veterans Affairs hospitals in Detroit and St.Louis.
Dr.Khalid has won multiple awards for his clinical performance and teaching of the residents and medical students. Also, he has multiple research publications and is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology. He has a special interest in Vasculitis, Lupus, Polymyalgia Rheumatica, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Psoriatic Arthritis.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys watching Football, and reading thriller novels.​​​​
